Hello all,
I am so happy to be able to finally share.
Let’s begin our journey into the Beginner’s Advantage.
The first step is always deciding who I am going to target or rather
what type of person or group am I going to appeal to.
So I am going to document my journey, so that one day you will be
able to start your journey.
Step one is definitely finding a domain name.
The good news and bad news is the first couple domain names I picked
were already taken.
Don’t let that deter you though, you will find the right one after taking a bit
of time to explore or search.
I recommend a dot com domain name because most people think of that as the standard.
Make your name as simple as possible to remember.
That means no dots, dashes or cute characters because no one will remember them.
That all being said I can tell you. Drum roll please ….
I got my own name: ScottRulon.com.
The next obvious question is where do I obtain a domain name?
We will focus in on that in the next post.
Thanks for tuning in.
Scott Rulon
I appreciate this post title as the first step can be the hardest one to make. Then sometimes we think we need the whole staircase to be revealed before taking the next step. I feel you will take the time to describe your journey so that I can follow along. Thank you for taking me on the journey with you.
Hi Scott,
Congrats for getting started. As the saying goes, “The journey of a thousand miles begin with a single step”.
It is great that you were able to get your own name for your domain. For many people, their name is already taken. So that is worth celebrating as well.
I wish you all the best and hope you will enjoy this journey.
It can take a while to find a domain that isn’t used. Some people get lucky… I wasn’t one of them. It’s even harder to link all your social media accounts to the same name too, but it’s all good fun.
Looking forward to seeing your progress and how you grow.
Good luck!
Hi Scott!
Congratulations on your first blog post! Affiliate marketing is a wonderful journey of learning the highs and lows, the ins and outs, and the ups and downs, on our paths to success. I’m glad you decided to be authentic and go with your name for your domain name.
I look forward to hearing more about your business journey!
All the best!

HI Scott,
Loved the post. Not very long and right to the point. The domain name is just so original. (joking)
Looking forward to a bit longer blog on who will be your domain provider.
Thanks Sandy
